Booking information

The legal relationship between you as a customer and AESA Gastronomiebetriebs GmbH (Haus Daheim) is governed by law, particularly by the provisions pursuant to the Austrian hotel reglement and the additional terms & conditions below which enrich the statutory provisions. All customers accept these booking conditions as binding upon themselves and the persons for whom the booking is made.

General information:

For entry into the country, citizens of all EU countries need a valid passport or identity card. Children younger than 16 require their own child identity card (for some countries with photos) or must be entered in their parent’s passport. Visitors are recommended to carry some form of identification on their person at all times. The landlord or his agent is generally obliged to take down the guests’ particulars upon arrival. All guests should therefore be prepared to surrender their identity cards/ passports to the landlord for a short period. Please note the following exception: The Czech Republic: Identity card and/ or passport must be valid at least until the day of leaving the country. Child identity cards must have a photo independent of the child’s age. Non-EU citizens are recommended to ask the General Consulates for the entry and import regulations.

Arrival:

Guests are welcome to arrive between 04.00 and 09.00 pm and are requested to leave by 10.00 am on the day of departure. If you are unable to arrive within these times, you must call the telephone number mentioned in the contact address above, either well in advance or, if necessary, from your journey. Petra is on call at this number: (+43) 664 174 76 72.

Deposit

Our caretakers have the right to request an appropriate deposit when they hand over the keys for your rented object. The deposit of 100 € is to pay in cash in Euro. The deposit will be refunded when the rented property is returned in proper condition (as for example after basic cleaning conducted by client). In some cases the deposit will only be refunded by bank transfer after the departure of the customer. Refunds are made without prejudice to possible compensation claims by landlords. In this context, AESA Gastronomiebetriebs GmbH reserves the right to forward the client's address details to the court of jurisdication.

Departure:

Our guests are requested to leave the holiday homes until 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure. A late-check-out can be agreed with our house-keeping Petra.

Booking procedure:

You are welcome to make written reservations. If you confirm an offer which was sent to you, you will receive our reservation sheet which requests your credit card details (no withdraw of a deposit). Alternatively you can send a deposit onto the indicated account number. After receiving credit card details with expiry date or a deposit, we will send you the binding booking confirmation. The booking is only valid after you receive our booking confirmation or confirmation of reservationn. Consequently the reservation status changes from a reservation into a binding reservation or a binding booking.

Local service charges:

In accordance with a ruling by the BGH (Federal Supreme Court), fixed costs payable in any case are included in the total price. Variable costs, which depend on the number of party, members, the composition of the party or on consumption (e.g. visitor's tax, electricity, gas, heating, fire wood, water, bed linen), are paid to the landlord or caretaker, depending on the use made of them at the holiday destination. The payment is in cash. Any local service charges mentioned in the house description refer to all guests including children and babies!

Bin

The customer is responsible for waste disposal in our waste room next to the main entrance. In Austria it is legally compusory to split up dark and white glas, paper, plastics, metal and cardboard! Please be aware that the waste disposal cannot be deducted by our house-keeping staff! Our company AESA Gastronomiebetriebs GmbH keeps the right to charge 70,00 € per hour if the waste disposal was conducted insufficiently.

Basic cleaning:

Basic cleaning is always carried out by the tenant (the client), irrespective of wheather the landlord carries out final cleaning! Basic cleaning includes cleaning of the kitchen, washing and putting away dishes, removing all remaing food and waste, which has to be seperated into several wast-paper bins, and stripping off the bed linen and hovering all rooms, so that the rented apartment is clean and tidy for the next tenant.

The deposit will be refunded when the rented property is returned in proper condition (as for example after basic cleaning conducted by client)!

Final cleaning:

The final cleaning additionally includes thorough cleaning of the kitchen, bathroom/shower and WC. Please considerate that the AESA Gastronomiebetriebs GmbH always conducts a final cleaning!

Payment conditions:

The payment is made by cash. No credit or debit cards accepted!

Cancellation fee:

In case of cancellation, delayed arrival or early departure we apply to the Conditions Of Austrian Hotelreglement.

The party may rescind the accommodation agreement by means of a unilateral declaration by 3 months before the agreed date of arrival of the guest without beeing liable to pay a cancellation fee. The contract of accommodation basis on the general terms and conditions for the hotel industry. Cancellation within 3 months before date of arrival is charged with the following cancellation fees:

- Cancellation between 3 months and 1 month before date of arrival: 40% of the total agreed price

- Cancellation between 1 month and 7 days before date of arrival: 70% of the total agreed price

- Cancellation within 7 days before date of arrival: 90% of the total agreed price

As the saying goes, the best laid plans often go awry. Whether you have to cancel your complete holiday or return home earlier than planned - it is best to play it safe and book travel insurance at the same time as your holiday.

Travel insurance:

To prevent these circumstances, we absolutely recommand you to book a travel insurance at the same time! You can book it on your own right here or you can send us a note in your booking and we will certainly book the insurance. The insurance premium is 5% of the total cost of the booked journey. Pets

In general customers are permitted to bring along pets. As a rule, such permission applies only for one single pet. The AESA Gastronomiebetriebs GmbH has the right to account a fee for each pet.

Law case, court of jurisdication, other provisions

Basis for the contractual relationship between customer and AESA Gastronomiebetriebs GmbH (Haus Daheim) is exclusively Austrian law. This is also valid for the whole legal relationship. As for legal actions outside Austria of the customer against AESA Gastronomiebetriebs GmbH (Haus Daheim) normally the Austrian law does not apply for questions of AESA Gastronomiebetriebs GmbH liability, for the legal consequences, especially with regard of nature, extent and amount of claims from the customer, the Austrian law applies exclusively.

Court of jurisdication for default proceedings and legal actions against AESA Gastronomiebetriebs GmbH (Haus Daheim) is Silz/Innsbruck as site of the principal office.

For legal actions from AESA Gastronomiebetriebs GmbH (Haus Daheim) against the customer, the customers domicile is decisive. For claims against customers or contract parties, in their function as commercials, juristic persons of the public or private law, or persons with their domicile or habitual residence not in Austria, or persons whose domicile or habitual residence is not known at the time of instituion of proceedings, court of jurisdication is Silz/Innsbruck as site of AESA Gastronomiebetriebs GmbH.
